I want to encrypt an excel spreadsheet to distribute a simple system and have been looking at
http://www.datasafexl.com/
http://doneex.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=section&id=7&Itemid=40
The first uses standard 128 bit (?) encryption and the second compiles the file into a .exe file and claims this is the better method because you do not have to provide the end user with a key.
Does anybody have experience of these or could suggest other excel encryption packages that they think are good.
Also can anybody tell me how secure is 128 bit encryption on a spreadsheet ?
Many thanks
