Excel Chart Making Help

Hello,

I am trying to chart 3 symbols, daily data over 20 years. (6000 rows)

My problem is that I want the ability to zoom in on a certain time frame (like just one year or one month) but I dont know how to do it with a basic excel chart. I tried changing the category axis scale of the X-axis (which has my dates) but it leaves the same chart up.

Does anyone have a template or any ideas of how i should do it.

I just highlight the cells that I am interested in and click on the chart icon.

look up dynamic charting on google. You can use a macro with vba to scale and zoom in on time axis.
