Six undocumented immigrants were arrested in North Carolina for their connection to a Mexican drug cartel, U.S. officials say.

The men are behind bars after they were accused last week of running an elaborate drug trafficking in Mecklenburg and Iredell counties, WSOC-TV reports.

At a luxury home in Statesville -- complete with a pool and a trampoline -- in August and October 2018, more than 1,800 grams of meth were delivered from it, federal officials say.

The person who lived there was Oscar Rangel-Gutierrez, a high-level cartel member, authorities say.

A huge home in Troutman, according to the indictment, is owned by Rangel-Gutierrez' parents.

Agents say a credible informant told the Troutman police department in 2014 that large amounts of cocaine were being stored at this address.

Court documents say Rangel-Gutierrez and the five other suspects were in the country illegally.

Agents say Rangel-Gutierrez transported 30 kilograms of cocaine "and an unspecified large quantity of methamphetamine in a one-month period from Texas to Georgia and North Carolina."

According to court documents, an apartment in this complex in Hidden Valley, a home in Derita and a house in east Charlotte -- are all tied to the investigation.

Agents say Oscar Rangel-Gutierrez and Regulo Rangel-Gutierrez stored drug proceeds at the house while they went to a night club.

The suspects are tied to a man believed to be the main rival of notorious drug lord Joaquin 'El Chapo' Guzman.

El Chapo was found guilty in U.S Federal Court last week on 10 counts and faces a mandatory life sentence.

That is what these idealistic Democrat goofballs do not understand when it comes to gun control and having a secure border. The cartels will just waltz across the border and add guns to their menu in addition to drugs. The gangs and other criminals will still have guns and the mexican cartels will be happy to sell it to them.

If you clamp down on gun makers then the people of mexico will become street gunsmiths like in the Philippines. The end result will still be the same, criminals will still have guns.

It all begins with a strong border.

If a country has no "border protection", then it effectively has NO BORDER!

American DemoCraps want us to have no border. Why? Well... it's not for the good of the country and our people, that's for sure! (Actually, it's a rhetorical question. Half of Americans understand the reason.)

Businesswoman beheaded after husband 'wouldn't pay' ransom

The decapitated body of Mexican businesswoman Susana Carrera was found last week after her family was unable to pay kidnappers the ransom they demanded. According to local news reports, a note was left with the body saying she was killed because her husband 'didn't want to pay' the ransom. The kidnappers were asking for 4 million Mexican pesos, which the family confirms they were unable to collect in time.

A Mexican businesswoman’s decapitated body was discovered with a note that reportedly said she was killed because her husband “didn’t want to pay” a ransom.

The body of Susana Carrera was found last Wednesday inside a bag in a parking lot in the coastal city of Coatzacoalcos in the state of Veracruz. She had been kidnapped a week earlier outside a friend’s house where she had gone to pick up one of her children.

The kidnappers left a note alongside the woman's body, according to local media, which read: “This happened to me because my husband played the tough guy and didn’t want to pay my ransom.”

The family confirmed they could not collect the funds to the ransom, according to the Heraldo de Mexico newspaper. The kidnappers reportedly asked for a ransom of 4 million Mexican pesos ($207,000).

AUSTRALIAN CHAMPION BODYBUILDER ID’D AS HOME INTRUDER WHO DIED AFTER ALTERCATION WITH RESIDENT, REPORTS SAY

Hours after her body was found, Carrera’s husband, Luis Manriquez, confirmed her death in a message on social media.

“Thank you very much to everyone for your prayers and wishes for my wife Susana Carrera to return home. Unfortunately, she wasn’t able to and she passed away.”

The couple were owners of the aluminum company Pezaliminio, which had an office in Coatzacoalcos. It’s unclear why the kidnappers targeted Carrera.

Local media shared photos that purportedly showed Carrera’s body and a copy of the note. Prosecutors in Veracruz announced Monday that it had launched an investigation into how the photo was leaked to media, which were probably taken at the medical examiner’s office.
