Examples of the Where the Race Mob Takes us

So, we arrive again at the recurring philosophical question: We know that if a MAGA or southern white male kills a black or a white siding with BLM that it is a major story.

But what if a black man killed them. Then did it still happen as a significant event or just a hit and run report by the lefty media. You know, if you are a black police captain who served your community for 38 years and are shot by a black thug then it is not much of a story is it. Meanwhile the flags are being lowered for some thug and people are naming their children after him.

I see that in one place in this article they talk about how the woman had been assaulted before and that the police could have done more by "investigating and collecting dna." How bout instead you call a fucking social worker or have someone come by with therapy llama? Howz that work for ya? Why do want to involve those nasty police that you are actively trying to defund?

Florida protester Oluwatoyin Salau, 19, found dead in Tallahassee after going missing

I'm not sure you can just leap to the racism tag here. Poor taste, yes. But he's just picking up a popular saying now (in completely the wrong light, of course), but does this make him racist? He might be racist, he might not. Is there anything other than this as evidence? Because I'm not sure you can immediately play the race card.

I'd like to present this as evidence. Here is a crossfit workout that actually lead to this gym advertised workout. Please note that I still think it is in bad taste. But the Black Fitness Community below doesn't think it is racism.

Editor’s Note: We understand that without context the title of this workout can come across as tone deaf or hurtful. This is not the intent of the workout’s creator, Angelo Rogers, nor WODwell. Please see Angelo’s post about his inspiration and intent behind the workout he designed in George Floyd’s memory – it inspired us to share:

From Angelo’s post: “I think the name “I Can’t Breathe” is an important reminder of the injustice that has sparked the need for change in all of us. The times we are experiencing humble us and remind us how much we can really push ourselves even when life seems to be crushing down on top of us. The message is not meant to offend anyone. The title is not meant to be a play on words. It’s meant to be a reminder of the injustice, to accept the challenge of change and adversity head on.

He also posted the following in response to individuals no social media who said they were offended by the title of the workout:

…you have that right to disagree. In my opinion there is no correlation between the pain of a man’s last moments and the strenuous capacity of the workout. Metaphorically speaking I can’t breathe indicates I can’t breathe I can’t catch my breath because of all the injustices that continue to happen. I can’t breathe because we keep seeing the same incidents occurring with the same end results. I can’t breathe because when is there going to be change. A metaphor carried out by millions of people, including strong, powerful African American leaders such as Jesse Jackson, Lebron James, Jamie Foxx, Nick Cannon, Kobe Bryant-RIP, etc. We are asking for a breath. We are crying for a breath. The message is largely a rally cry. It’s a reminder. Symbols can be painful. Hard to hear or look at but they are the cause for emotion inside you to motivate you to rise. It’s directed towards social change…

We were moved by Angelo’s words and actions. When he reached out to us and asked us to share his workout, we agreed. Since then the feedback we received from the black fitness community has been overwhelmingly positive. Some not. We will continue to listen.

Firstly, I'm not playing the race card. Please look up the definition of that phrase.

Most anything can be used as intended, or anything can be bastardized.

Your "evidence" shows the original intent of the workout. The OP shows the bastardized version.

Why do I think the bastardized version of the workout notice is racist, rather than in just poor taste without regard to race?

1. They likely were aware of the original disclaimer attached to the workout, which clarified that the workout was not created in poor taste. Which explains why your "evidence" gym didn't view it as black on black racism. This is all very obvious.

Advice: research elements discrimination similarly situated

You'd had a stronger case had you shown that a "White" 'gym' wasn't being racist, rather than exclaiming, in effect, if not in these exact words, "Hey! Look! I found a Black gym that wasn't being racist towards a murdered Black man! What do you have to say about that!"

2. A reasonable person would know that it would be in poor taste, as this, you seem to admit; to not include the disclaimer.

3. The OP gym added an image, in all black, in a kneeling position. Again, a reasonable person would agree that this is poor taste.

So how to I connect this up to racism?

If OP gym person has the audacity to post that sign, in light of the racial tension, unrest, and upheaval; then they are telling me that they want to be included in the racial drama. No reasonable person would do such a thing if they didn't want to be pigeonholed.

I've seen where people used to be racist when they were younger, but still had the associated tattoos as they got older; but only now decided to get them covered. They went out of their way to not be even mistaken as a racist.

A reasonable person wouldn't want to be mistaken as something they disagree with.

Research 'circumstantial evidence.' We don't need proof beyond a doubt to put a man in jail on just circumstantial evidence. And we certainly don't need it to know when racism is being perpetrated by a racist.

Doing what the OP gym did, in these circumstances, clearly indicates racism [...or antagonism directed against a person or people on the basis of their membership of a particular racial or ethnic group, ...];

And clearly indicates that they are racist [ ... a person who believes in racism, ...]

I think it is more insensitive and in poor taste taking a dying man's words and turning it into a workout, I don't think there was a racist angle, just a stupidity/clueless.

People need to think just an extra minute before taking all that time to write out something like that. I think the follow up is the employee got fired. As an owner, if you are that stupid to not read the room then it is best we part ways and you work elsewhere.

Anyone want to take a stab at this?

Ok, I'm not going to say it was easy to follow all of your reasoning in this post, but it is your reasoning and you are certainly entitled to an opinion. You believe it is racist and in poor taste. I merely believe it is in poor taste and I see no evidence of racism. But I believe this is a perfect example of where the race mob takes us, and I appreciate you providing that.

Agree wholeheartedly. I think an employer should have previewed it, but that might not be realistic to expect of a gym. Still, the reaction should be that the employee is fired over stupidity and risk reduction, if nothing else.

But agree, there doesn't seem to be a race angle here - not unless you want there to be. If you want to be offended, you'll always find a reason to be.

The importance here is for a reasonable center (and I don't know what that is yet) to agree what is and is not racism. You're always going to have fringe people calling obvious racism not racism, and you're always going to have people who see racism where there is clearly none. It is up to the reasonable middle to draw the lines on what society will follow - as all else is subjective and there is no way to legislate subjectivity.

I am quite aware that a hurricane isn't a human being that needs to be treated with respect. Trust me, I can differentiate this.

My point is actions appear driven by self-preservation instinct. Are such actions considered racist?

As one of the most egregious examples of where the race mob takes us: Please see how a California man who is cracking his knuckles at a stop light gets photographed and accused of making a white power symbol (to ...someone, I guess) and then fired from his job.

Can you imagine this lunacy? This is something you'd see in the Onion. But this is the Race Mob and Cancel Culture we are enabling.

California man fired over alleged white power sign says he was cracking his knuckles

A California man who was fired from his job earlier this month over a picture of his hand said he was cracking his knuckles and was not intending to form an alleged white power gesture, NBC 7 San Diego reported.

Emmanuel Cafferty was fired from his position at San Diego Gas and Electric (SDG&E) after a fellow driver on the road took a picture of his arm hanging out of one of the company’s trucks.

The Twitter user wrote in a now-deleted post that the SDG&E employee, later identified as Cafferty, was using a white power symbol near a Black Lives Matter rally in Poway.

Cafferty, who is Mexican American, told the outlet that he was just cracking his knuckles outside of the window and had no idea that the gesture could have a racist intent.

“It’s scary that you can be charged, tried and convicted on social media, without your permission, with no corroborating evidence, of any type,” Cafferty said.

The Anti-Defamation League and the Southern Poverty Law Center have defined the "OK" hand sign as hateful symbols with messages linked to white supremacy. The ADL, a Jewish civil rights group, added the symbol to its online database of hate symbols last year.

But the ADL also emphasizes that the "traditional meaning of the 'okay' hand gesture" means that people should use caution before jumping to conclusions when they see it.

The sign is also used in what is known as the "circle game," wherein someone flashes the hand symbol with the goal of tricking someone into looking at it. If they do, that person gets punched in the arm.

The person who originally posted the picture told NBC 7 that he may have gotten “spun up” and misinterpreted the hand gesture. He told the outlet that he never intended for the SDG&E employee to be fired.

After the photo surfaced, Cafferty’s supervisor told him that he was suspended pending an investigation. A few days later, Cafffery was terminated by the company.

Cafferty told the outlet that he was proud of SDG&E for taking allegations of racism seriously but wanted to return to work.

BLM protestor rapes and kills...you guessed it, a BLM protestor. They are who they are.
Oluwatoyin “Toyin” Salau, a 19-year-old Black woman and avid Black Lives Matter activist, was found dead in Tallahassee one week after she went missing. Since reports of Salau’s death came out, people have been highlighting the work she did as a young activist to fight for others’ lives, arguing that the world failed to protect her in return.

Tallahassee police found Salau’s body along with 75-year-old longtime AARP volunteer Victoria Sims on Saturday. Both their deaths are being investigated as homicides. On Monday, North Florida and South Georgia news station WCTV reported that Tallahassee police had arrested a suspect for the double murder, 49-year-old Aaron Glee Jr.
