Well it looks as though I took the right couple of weeks off on vacation - both weeks lost money for the example trading system.
Over the last 2 weeks EMD made a profit of $410 but NQ, EMD, ES and NQ lost $340, $390, $862.50 and $1,265 respectively.
Anyway, I will be updating the daily results page everyday again from now on, so let's hope things improve!

The system had it's 6th losing week in a row last week! The question is: is this market being particularly unkind or is the system 'broken".
Drawdown across the 5 contracts is now at $7,520 which is higher than the historic maximum drawdown of $6,160. However we would always expect a future drawdown to exceed an historic, hypothetical drawdown which is why we would allow for at least twice the historic maximum when calculating potion sizes. By that thinking we need to reach $12,320 before we really have a problem!
Having said all that, there is plenty that can be down to improve on what is a very basic system.

- O/H/L/C does not necessarily need to be 24 hrs...it can be 30 hrs...but you must custom build your charts..
- Two day trades.....

I would be curious to know if the system has reached a new number of maximum consecutive losers ... and, if so, what is the probability of this happening based on the known/prior % losing trades?
Nah, keep trading it as it is - if it runs into the ground - that will be very educational.
