Mercor said more Republicans voted for it then democrats and that was false

Any time i make an argument against you , like the fact that the Dixiecrats are not the same as the New republicans in the South, I try to give you an out to save face.

So, your counterpoint is to argue about the vote totals, implying that you completely agree with my point about the Dixiecrats.

Aren't i a nice guy?

The percents matter because the Democrats had such a huge majority in numbers.

Votes against the Civil rights bill
Democrat House 96
Republican House 34

Democrat Senate 21
Republican Senate 6

many more Democrats voted against the bill

This is what I was responding to
Quote from AK Forty Seven:
They always bring up the KKK was democrats but don't know or fail to mention that the parties switched with LBJs civil rights bill and Nixons southern strategy

Nixon's Southern strategy killed off the Democratic southern racist and replaced it with A republican ideal that provides opportunity and jobs.

This is allowing the Blacks from the northern Democratic racist Ghettos to leave and go back to the South...

82% > 65%

Quote from Max E. Pad:

And what exactly has the democrats "war on poverty" done to improve this situation? We have spent trillions of dollars on entitlements, and what has it done to help?
Looking through history, what good has come to stratified societies where no "bread" (and circuses) are given to the economically irrelevant?
