At her age now (she's 21)...if she's really good...she'll be on the National Team or National Developing Team or getting ready for a pro career in soccer.
Taking on the University without the support of the students, alumnis and other university ADs is a battle that can not be won especially with the NCAA involved.
- I wouldn't be surprise that when she quit...she failed to discuss it with the school or her parents until after she had quit.
The lawsuit can not undo what she miscalculated about doing (quitting).
Times are tough and many students without scholarship are forced to pay for their own college expenses, work while going to school or drop out because they can not afford college.
Somebody gave her bad advice about quitting
without protecting her eligibility / scholarship options. I say that because she doesn't say anywhere about what the UVA offers her in academics that she thinks she can not get from another school.
Thus, it looks like she stayed at the school to get even with the Coach...to teach the coach a lesson. In contrast, the University is like...
