Ex-dividend date on Yahoo and several other websites seem to be incorrect

Hello,

Currently the ex-dividend date of PGN is 10/7/09 while the record date is 10/12/09, similarly CHG has ex date as 10/8/09 and record date as 10/13/09.

Is there a non-trading day this week? Or is that a mistake or am I missing anything?

The NYSE does not show a holiday. The record date for PGN's dividend is October 12 (per the company's web site). But that would make a purchase on October 7 eligible for the dividend and hence an ex-dividend date of October 8. So I'm confused as well.
