ex-dividend date on closed nyse day

quick question: qualcomm was scheduled be ex-dividend on the 5th of december. however, as we now know, on the 5th of december the markets will be closed. does anyone know what will happen: will the ex-dividend date be moved to the 4th, or to the 6th? thanks!

My guess would be the 6th. I'd be very surprised if they move it up a day.

It was discussed on an industry call yesterday afternoon. I had follow up conversations with OCC yesterday evening as we ironed out details. Fidelity Action Services laid out the exact information in a circular this morning. Are you not in the business?
