Ewj: elliott wave

Quote from ed:

Could have counted too fast Mu?

Looks a little more like a "B" wave to me. But well, does it matter? The next move after it completes is up.... :)

ESZ9 Daily

been having problems
1- considering a triangle formation in wave 2

• Welle 2 ist eine Korrektur aber kein Triangel
wave 2 is any correction but never a triangle
2-i prefer B

what d u think about #1?

Hi third wave,

Yes, you are right that triangles almost never occur in wave 2. If you look closer, there is a chance it is not a triangle but a flat. Since it has not completed, we can only speculate and tilt on the greater odds isn't it? :)

Which is why I kind of prefer labelling it a "B" wave too as it fits into what I think is the larger picture below...... :)

We'll just have to wait and see how Mr Market unfolds :)

@ Third Wave

Can you post a chart with your view?
Then we can share our view on it.( not sure what you mean right now
:) )

momentanely i dispose only of comit italian index ancient

Borrowed Ed's spx daily :p

There's something to say about a triple zigzag.
If so then this "B" is a flat and the next move should become "C up" which would complete the 3rd ZigZag.(not pretty btw)

All these ABC's making it hard, so i'm zooming out a bit.

With windowdressing completing this "fantastic" year it sounds as a plausible theory...

Funny how Neely got stopped out of a short position and Prechter is 200% short even though his in-house analyst, Steven Hochberg is unequivocally bullish given the A-B-C-D-E triangle in the Dow Jones that began back on Nov. 19th and recently terminated earlier this week.
