Ewj: elliott wave

The Spike may be Wave :5ii.â :confused: .
Five waves UP again, may be Wave :5iii.i :) .
There should be a measured move UP as Wave :5iii.iii :D .

Note: Crude Oil also shows five waves UP pattern.

If SPX is taking the path of a wave 4 flat, with the C wave starting at 666.79 on Mar 6th, then the next target I'll be looking out for is about 995, just short of 1000.... :D :D :D
 
Aside from the OIH gapping higher and being a great short for the first hour of trading, not much going on today.

....for me ... i don't know about the timing...
.... but if that 5 waves down is complete like stated above.....
.... then i think the sky is the limit....
.... the only question then would be when wave 2/b will start and how far down it will go.....
..... if it wants two sets of 5 waves down ... then could still go all the way up to wave 1 before starting in again....

....also... at the turn.... was positive divergence on weekly frame... using detrended price oscillator....

.... here is a shot of the possible wave 1 = wave 5 on djx ....

.....by the way .... standard slow stoch ... on weekly frame....
..... has done a great job of counting the waves.....

.... on daily frame.... slow stoch did not become oversold until the beginning of the big W pattern.....
