With Gann it deepends on how deep you want to go into his methods...
If its just price action , swings ect, then Ganns own books are a good place to start combined with all the stuff online.
If you want to go into the more esoteric methods , an understanding of Masonic thought , Albert Pike's Morals and Dogma would be a useful reference.
Gann also attended P.D Ouspensky's lectures when Ouspensky was in New York. A glance through Ouspensky works, highlights a great deal.
