Ewj: elliott wave

I find that the specific use of 3 particular MA's allow me to tell whether or not we are in a Wave 2 or a Wave 4 correction, more often than not.

:)

:) MA's are my bread and butter.

Can you share some tips on using MA's? :)

Mu,
Oops! We seem to be deviating from EW in this thread.... :D

Still prefer this ED count :)

Seems like we're in the "C" wave of ED v now. If so, this will be the final leg up before the drop many of us have been waiting for (see below post for big picture)

ESM9 61min.....
:D yes.... it is really a 61min chart....:D hinting to someone special to get back to this forum soon! :D :D

ed,
Moving Averages smooth out the waves, making it easier to count :) and miscount  .
Moving Averages's signals come late :( ,
but they may be useful as a confirmation :) .
Get out of position at the end of fifth wave, get into opposite position at moving average crossing.
In wave two or b moving average crossing may occurs at the end of subwave c  .
Choosing the right ma for each equity and time period is important.
mu.

.... Elliott used most of them (TA) himself.
I don't remember how Elliott said about moving averages.

Thanks Mu! :)

Seems like the ESM9 61min is unveiling according to plan too.... :D

The first resistance should be about 855~860.... :)

Edit:
Just got stopped out with tiny profits after I typed this post.... :) It is indeed not easy to trade and post at the same time....

By the way, General Growth Properties filed for Chapter 11. They are the #2 largest shopping mall owner in the US.

Their problem wasn't declining revenue ( +12% for 2008 ) or losing tenants ( occupancy was 92.5% ).

Their issue was the inability to "roll-over" $27.2 billion in debt. They had been mentioning a potential issue with the inability to refinance maturing mortgages back in November of last year.

Looks like the commercial debt markets are as frozen as ever!
