Check out the Daily Chart of VLO (Valero Refining) from the low of last November on . . . and do the EW count on it.

If you have time, go back to the July of 2007 highs and work your way down to today's action.

It looks like it tracks EW very closely.

If that time pressure is in then a move below that shadow tail around 790 is needed over the next few days....

Not true.
That's Corey Rosenbloom's blog.

And believe it or not, he admits that he got so caught up in Wave 4 not being able to penetrate into Wave 1, that he forgot to take into consideration an Expanding Diagonal in which the waves are elongating as they develop.

As we all know, Wave 4 can indeed OVERLAP the territory of Wave 1 in a leading or ending diagonal, as poster Andrew Stanton points out in the reader's comment section of Corey Rosenbloom's blog:

Seen as were all on about Ending Diags this morning

Wave iv's of ED patterns, like the 50% retrace of wave iii's.... So if it holds that 812 area then it still has once more chance at the 61.8% around 838... see chart below

If we go below that 50% the odds shift more and more into a completed 5th of a Leading Diag count into that 26th of March time pressure....
