Is the Fed only doing what we are hard coded to do? The EW seen in nature as shown by the growth and retracement is used because it is most efficient. Booms and busts are wild and crazy but just as the flower stems, we are hard coded that this is the fastest way to advance as a species. It may be wild and painful, but in the end we will be much further along than having taken the safe reliable route.
Take the Soviets, minus the oppression, just human advancement. They advanced very well. First in space, nuclear technology, military tech, space station. They were steady and during our bust years, they were looking good. However, when we began a boom phase toward thier end it must have looked like we were using alien technolgy. Blown out of the water. Therefor as much anger as there is at the Fed right now, they might just be fulfilling a hardcoded growth pattern.
Side note, not sure where we are in counts, but wave threes still active in many commodity related equities. Spx not for me right now. Of course that can end at any time, news is bad, inflation good. -Shrug- Will see how crude takes the reports.

Going by the flat correction we saw at yesterday's close in the SPX, I believe we should be in the fifth wave now.
Off the cuff, I recall looking at around 830~834 in the SPX and about 1280~1285 in the NQ as 5th wave targets. And then perhaps good nite irene?
