Ewj: elliott wave

Quote from Mup:

Remberber that 60min Chart zone from yesterday...

http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/attachment.php?s=&postid=2182884

It shows where people were either bailing at break even or trying there luck by doubling down... Double down Bulls got lucky yesterday...

Well were back there and those same buyers will now again either be bailing or the uber bulls will be thinking they carn't belive their luck!! A chance to add again on a tiple bottom...

So we can expect a little bit of mischief around here...

Triple bottems rarely hold once all the mischief plays out .....

Would be nice to flush those uber bulls out in the last half hour now the mischief is finishing off by taking out that 816.75 (ES) low

The ED iii looks complete in both the INDU and the SPX daily charts.

An ED iv strong upmove tomorrow will confirm the ED. Would be a testing bull trap for many when ED v strikes...... :D

Can someone explain in brief “Elliot wave” and how it helps?

Go to www.elliotwave.net for a breif summary, use of terms, the whole thing is there, myself and most people that view this thread don't understand it as well as the posters here, they are really good at it.

It is a useful site that ammo, even if its part of EWI :D

If people just get the basic names of the patterns suchs as Flats, Zig- Zags and of course Ending Diagonals it should make understanding a bit more manageable...

From that we can go even more basic to measured moves (1:1's) and Alternate Waves (ALTS) and how these very basic patterns keep you on the right side of the market more often that not.

As ammo says their are some good people on Mu's thread and if people ask genuine questions about EW they will normally get a helpful response ... :)

Once again, the EWJ Thread proves to be of superlative value here on ET.
We'll be at 800 pages by Turkey Day.

Congrats to all who have contributed!
