....i know this is off topic....
...but if your platform feels heavy with windows....

....try puppy linux..... it is so light and so fast....
....everything is faster.... even internet....
...i am testing it today......

I'm very keen but the charts and trading platforms I use require XP at least....

Do you know of any XP simulator software I can run on top of puppy so I may still use my XP platform software?

I've actually gotten a new dual core notebook and installed XP in it...... It's much faster than Vista! :)

The OIH which lead the market's rally yesterday has retraced 50% and crude is now down about $1.15 in the Dec. contract.

I might be far too optimistic here but this should give the market (SPX) a bit of a "bid".

..mup is that.... if it hits greater 50....it should hit lesser 50 after ?
...thnx :0) [/i]

Thats the one elo,

If it hits a higher degree 50% then a move back to the next lower degree 50% is a good possablity..

Its tied into Ganns “as above so below” thinking.

Did you here back from that Hedgie Guy Mike ?

Yes, he called me back yesterday.

His thoughts were such that today was a significant date regarding hedge-fund withdrawals, but that it was rather difficult to figure out how much selling was "pre-emptive" given that actual withdrawal requests won't be received until over the weekend ( Saturday ).

He added that he felt that the equity guys were far less leveraged than the bond guys, and thus that might help "mitigate" the selling. At the end of the day, I'm not sure if this helps much. Remember, there are "other" redemption dates out there next year.

P.S. Citicorp and the rest of the financials are not helping this market today.

Thanks Mike...

It could, if it wants to waste time, a-b-c into that ALT to make a double drive on a 38.2% which the bears would think gift...

Early finish for me today as I have a firends Dinner to attend... Catch you all later... :)
