I'm still not entirely committed as to whether the Oct'07 top is a Wave IV or Wave V, but now I get the point about the 2012/4 time frame.

..... if low is not broken here at double bottom level....
.... then keep an eye on this butt-naked dragon formation....
....if no penetration... then dragon would need a run up to 1080
....watching 11.30am
...edit.... '02 wave 1 top has been penetrated....
.... friday is october 11 (saturday)....one year decline

Yesterday's low in the SPX broken.....

We could be looking at a series of wave4 and wave5 of different degrees here for a while.

The next level of support I'm looking at is about 960-961 on the SPX.... and thereafter about 923-925....
 
It looks more like wave 3)3.4 than wave 1)1.1 (now confirmed :), it takes a long time to draw a picture ) .
Now we have to consider if it is wave 3)3.4:c or wave 3)5.5:2 :confused.
The resistance trendline and the resistance level may help determine the outcome.

On my very short-term1-minute chart of the SPY, it looks IMPULSIVE up since the 96.00 low.

Possible A-B- and a 5wave up C into the high at 99.00?
