Mup, I do not follow Prechter but if his EW count is similar to mine I am happy because his knowledge of EW is way beyond mine. However, I am not happy that your EW count does not agree with mine because your knowledge of EW is also beyond me. Mup you have a gift for being able to see the different alternatives... will you post a longer term chart(s) of the different alternatives(ie triangle)?

I'l have a look over the weekend if I've have time, there's a about 5 options on the longer term ranging from sharp C wave to Mu's wave 4 and even being part of an ED wave 5...

This comes into play now, sim to Mu's post :)

And yes, I think that ED count on the SPX since the Aug 11th high is becoming very very likely now.... and after that..... up up & away!!!!!:D
