Ewj: elliott wave

Hmm been on back ups all afternoon :(
Since the floods over here the cable and phone lines don't seem to like water...

Anyway again the move down was a little deeper than I first thought, but a least we had the direction correct this morning :)

Speaking of ED's ed, carn't rule out this larger ED pattern... Price action is sim to that of that what happened going from Feb swing high to March low...

Only comes into play if the low on friday gets taken out..
For ease I've just labled wave i at the first swing low but it could easy be where wave iii is
120min SPX

Quote from Mup:Time wise I would of liked the 9/10th (point 8 ITD for the delta watchers ) as a low but if its come slightly early then I wont argue with it :D
Might still be in play for that point 8 low...

"TraderRob also had a 5th wave count at the 07 Oct high".

I am currently not trading but still watch the technical analysis on this thread and it continues to get better! Attached is my long term analysis and on the subsequent post my take on the rally from the Oct. 02 low to the Oct. 07 high. The third post is my count from the Oct. 07 high through yesterdays(monday) trading.

Oct. 07 high to yesterdays close.

I believe the ideal trade setup is when the technicals and the fundamnetals align.... the real estate market is not close to bottoming, mortgage resets are causing foreclosures and now buyers that have seen their home values decline by 50% are simply walking away even though they can afford their payments, credit is still tight. Both the U.S. and worlwide economies are decling, unemployment continues to rise as the social mood continues to deteriorate.

My opinion is that the set up for the "Perfect Storm" is in place. I see the S & P eventually trading down to 700-800.

But first we can enjoy a "C" of Wave II that will carry the SPX back up to around 1335.

:)
