Quote from Mup... its now at best an A-B-C of the lows with this move down part of the B...

A chart always helps...:)

Still with the bear bias, but allows an move up into the May onwards time window if the LTD has inverted...

Daily SPX...

The Retracement

The Cycle Wave A]I)I will retrace most of the Cycle Wave V]V)V and may go down to the beginning of the Cycle Wave V]V)III.
During the retracement to the 1974 level, world population dwindles from 6.6 billions now (July, 2007) to 4 billions.

The question "Why?" is easy to answer. Today Oil accounts for 40% of world energy consumption. That is to say 100% of today world energy is supporting 6.6 billions. 60% of today world energy will support only 6.6*.6 or ~4 billion people.

The question "How?" is too scary to contemplate.

If it doesn't go up it may go down, Elliott wave at its finest

Turning Point.
If NASDAQ does not turn up. :(
INDU and S&P may turn down.
If INDU and S&P do not turn down. :)
NASDAQ may turn up. :D

The bench mark Alt is that +18

So if that 1:1 gives some support this morning the +18 ALT @1349.75 is the eventual natural target....

If that 1:1 doesn't hold, it means were implusing and the Gap close is an easy eyeball target@ 1322.75...

:)
