If you start reading stuff that suggests evolution is wrong, not proven, or is " ONLY a theory", it's likely a creationist or even a bunch of them telling you that.

If you see someone writing "the building blocks of life are not what makes things alive".... then that's another type of creationist called Jem telling you that.

by admitting you know there is no proof of abiogenssis, you admit you know that De Duve could not have been saying that scieene says abiogenesis happened by chance.

hence it was you who was taking De Duve out of context.
