Now he's trying to impress us with his ability to quote the dictionary.

ART, for the last time, I've never said I was right. I simply said you fail to suppy convincing evidence to make me believe otherwise. The hubris, my friend -- and ego -- is soley yours.

Quote from axeman:

Dont even try Sardo, your debating someone who has clearly
shown he is incompetent to debate.

I think we can end this thread with his final quote:

ART: "ART IS NOT RATIONAL"

peace

axeman

You are right, axe, and I shouldn't sanction his irrationality by responding to it. But he does seem like a decent fellow overall.

"This is probably the last time I have the patience to do this."

Impatience is irrational.

"From now on you have to pay me for these lessons."

Would you just stop? Impatience is not irrational. It's lack of patience. And the quote is not an example of hubris. At best, I was being a smartass.

Quote from ARogueTrader:

Are computers logical and rational?

Yes.

Are they impatient?

No.
Are computers logical and rational?

Yes.

Do they believe in God?

No.

No.

So is your conclusion: a) all things that are impatient are not logical and rational or b) all things that are impatient are not computers?

Your "logic" escapes me.

Axe or someone, please cite which logical fallacy this is. My brain hurts too much at this point to remember.
