I merely expanded on a point another poster made:

“The hypocrite republican governor sued for and got millions for a tree falling on him than later supported laws that limit pain and suffering compensation to 250,000”.

It seems to me, the subject of this thread’s opening post lends itself to discussion of a large, politically connected corporation unethically attempting to transferring its obligations and liabilities to another, their customers.

Quite some time ago, a poster who I respect, suggested there is more than one user of the ET account, Tony Stark. Based on your last few posts, I am could almost concur with that poster’s assessment, except Tony Stark did take some time off of posting on ET to get out the vote or related subject for the 2020 elections. That lull in posting would suggest to me there is only one poster, unless another associated with the account did the same thing, as is certainly plausible.

Are you having a bad day? Is it unlike the Tony Stark I respect to initiate ad homs. Sure, I’ve seen Tony get a little asymmetrical after someone gets him going, but most often, he will let what he perceives as facts do the talking.

The Tony Stark “Brand”, if you will, has a good online reputation in my perception and that reputation is based on a solid character.

Am I wrong?

Yeah the point the other poster made is the Governor as a citizen went after someone for millions in a tort lawsuit and then after decided to change the law so subsequent plaintiffs could not get the same amounts.

It has noting to due to politically connected corporations transferring obligations to customers......

I think it's absolutely wonderful that the Democrats won everything and it's been funny seeing you and other Trump cultists completely lose their shit since. As an added bonus, I've made a lot of money trading the commodity bull since. Life truly is better with a Trump loss.

If you want to see miserable, check out some of the Trump cultists that stormed Washington on Trump's "invitation". Or, more recently, all the people in Texas who lost their power/water recently and/or got a monster bill in the process. A big thank you to the Republicans on their behalf; MAGA lives on in Texas !!! ( likely changes in 2-4 years )
