Denmark recently adjusted its guidelines, and is now advising sick people to wear masks if they have to leave their home to go to the doctor. People who go to the airport also need to don a face covering. But Danes can go to shops, restaurants and gyms, and use public transport without masks.
Meanwhile, there are signs that contagion rates in Denmark are on the rise. Health Minister Magnus Heunicke recently told Danes to take the threat of a second outbreak seriously.
I think it is early for any country to celebrate a policy that may not be working....
In Sweden, which came under fire for its ‘light touch’ strategy that has resulted in 5,783 deaths to date, face masks remain off the agenda. However, state epidemiologist Anders Tegnell has said that everything will be considered if signs of a second wave continue.
Culturally they more be better at social distancing, hygiene and following health recommendations than the U.S. which is a hodge podge shit show.
Whatever the policy was it was followed homogenouosly (sp) and works a lot better than thousands of beach goers or bikers collecting with no regard for health concerns
