WASHINGTON COUNTY, Ore. — According to the Washington County Sheriff's Office, two directors of programs including or targeted toward children were some of the people arrested in a child sexual predator sting.
On April 13, 2023, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office conducted a child predator sting where undercover investigators used multiple dating applications, social media sites, and other online platforms to pose as underage boys and girls.
The suspects contacted the profiles online and offered to meet a person they believed to be a child for sex. When the suspects arrived to meet the child, they were instead arrested by law enforcement.
The following people were arrested for the felony crimes of luring a minor and online sexual corruption of a child in the first degree:
KATU learned from a spokesperson for St. Pius X Church and School that, "Mr. Baba’s employment has been terminated and he is no longer allowed on parish or school property."
A spokesperson for Club K sent KATU the following statement:
Club K was made aware of an employee arrest today. The employee was a Substitute Director and his arrest did not involve conduct that occurred at Club K. Club K takes the safety of our children very seriously. Club K has taken immediate action to address matters, is cooperating with the appropriate authorities, and has no further comment at this time. Thank you for your understanding.

- Te’Vari Jenkins, 26, of Gresham. Jenkins was working as a Director of Child Development Programs for the Club K program in the Wilsonville area.
- Henry Banegas Interiano, 26, of Portland
- Ethan Caddy, 19, of Vancouver
- Sincere Peoples, 21, of Beaverton
- Jackson T. West, 27, of Portland,

Statistically, those that prey on children, typically are not strangers, not transgender, not drag queens...
They typically are someone the family knows, trusts, teachers, someone religious, someone from a place of worship, coaches/assistants, relatives, and even online friends.
Remember growing up how parents and teachers were teaching us about "stranger danger" when in reality it was teachers, relatives, someone from our religion that we needed to be scared of, especially the ones that seem to be putting too much emphasis on the "stranger danger" fearmongering.
- Seems to me everybody has conveniently forgotten about the Boys Scouts, Churches, Ministries, Schools, Place of Worship and Sports as a hideout for groomers.
