Events Calendar (ERs etc.)

Events Calendar (ERs etc.): clicking there (ie. at YahooFinance) on an item gives a list of the underlying events...

But it has also some buggy data, for example for ticker CGC the list says that the ER is today before market open. But I could not find any ER released... And the NASDAQ site says it was scheduled for yesterday before market open... Nope, nothing, all lying, IMO! :)

As usual, when you don't understand something, it's automatically a bug, a lie or a fraud.

Here's the explanation for CGC (took me 2 minutes to find out!):

You're welcome.

Idiots don't understand the problem!
In program-trading (ie. auto-trading) you get via API the ER date and are doing trading for it, but when the ER gets delayed then this is not possible to get via the API....
You have to see it all for such program-trading scenarios...

And I can also imagine a scenario where the (strategic) delay of the ER release can be seen as a market manipulation method, since "they" know the OI table for each ExpDate... to let the soon-to-expire options expire worthless... Wall Street Gangstas In Action... :)

Idiots don’t understand the rules around announcing earnings. If they did they would be earning millions.

same idiots don’t understand the reality of information. They are stuck in their theoretical world of c++ programming and are fundamentally lazy. That’s why they will never be rich.

Hey I just had a brain-storm!
... I wonder if anyone has ever thought of checking a company's IR page to verify a confirmed release date? I think they might announce that. I'm a genius!!!!

That would be illegal. The Wall Street gangsters deliberately put bugs in the webpages to make those dates bad.
