That 8% is probably more than Fox News gave Obama when they attacked him for a war on Christmas, not saying God in a Thanksgiving address, and wearing a tan suit. I do think some of the stuff against Trump (like when they got in a tizzy over calling MS-13 animals) is clearly just over the top biased hatred. However, when you tell 20k lies over your presidency, there's a lot to address.

I'd imagine Hitler got a lot of bad press as well. Trump is probably the most prominent pathological liar in modern history. Some of his supporters don't seem to understand how much he earns the bad press. I suppose they could move to Russia or China and suddenly the bad press goes away.
