I had to read this three times to make sure I didn't misread it. Florida, who per square centimeter crushes almost every other state in this union in clear sun, lags behind many of them on solar panels installments.

The difference was huge. New Jersey added almost 174 megawatts from January to March. At that rate, the state would add the equivalent of a mid-sized nuclear reactor to its electrical capacity by the end of the year.

Maybe this is why? Or is it just the general conservative stupidity that seem to flourish in the south. After all, didn't this nutjob disallow any mention of climate in state planning? Or was that the dumb NC conservatives? I think it was both.
florida has much cheaper electricity than california.
that makes it much harder to pitch the upfront costs vs savings over time.
solar pays for itself over time in many parts of california because our rates were so high due to govt stupidity, corruption and bad deals.

I am a real environmentalist. One who used to volunteer time and services to clean water groups and I agree those are very serious concerns.
The issue here is that we have wasted billions and billions of dollars and energy and good will on that should have been channeled to these real environmental issues when there is not science showing man made co2 causes warming.

which would be an interesting argument... if you had any peer reviewed science showing man made co2 causes warming... but you don't most likely because co2 levels trail changes in ocean temps.
