Now that is surprising. According to this article, there is a fucking volcano sitting underneath West Antarctic Ice Sheet.

Now, a new study finds that these subglacial volcanoes and other geothermal "hotspots" are contributing to the melting of Thwaites Glacier, a major river of ice that flows into Antarctica's Pine Island Bay. Areas of the glacier that sit near geologic features thought to be volcanic are melting faster than regions farther away from hotspots, said Dustin Schroeder, the study's lead author and a geophysicist at the University of Texas at Austin.

So you think it is volcanoes that is melting ice that has been around for thousands of years and not the increasing temperatures. Is that right?
Or is your contention that temps are not increasing.
I'm just trying to figure out the level of your delusional thinking.
Notice how they hold the science arguments on one hand when debating you, but as the logic of their thinking becomes more untenable and begins to act as an enemy to their position, the reasons for denying become closer to explanations of things unseen. So they get to use science against scientists until the corner of doubt left is a sliver of hope - then they turn to "volcanoes under the arctic". It doesn't matter that your explanation is a 2 standard deviation of being true and theirs is 50 standard deviations of being true.
That is the true beauty of science - for some reason nature does not tolerate contradictions.
But, sound like anything else you hear from right wing people? Have you seen this anywhere else in human societies - explanations by unseen forces?
