Even the Pope sides with Futurecurrents

and we have been warming since the last ice age and the oceans have underwater volcanoes and vents... therefore man made co2 causes warming?

And the contents of my freezer are still frozen. Therefore the northern hemisphere will have no summer?

It might, if we control for those variables. Which is what the science has been doing. It tests and rejects hypotheses. What's left is likely, but not necessarily, the cause. This is the best method we have to go on, and when considering potentially damaging effects it is the approach we should act on.

if it is possible to isolate variable in a dynamic and complex system like our environment. I might be interested in thinking science could get this figured out. but right now... we don't have it figured out.
Do you have some science showing us man made co2 causes warming? You could get a noble prize for it... because not one else has been able to produce it.

If you are talking about models... that is why the pause/hiatus is so important. not that is shows that we have not be warming... but that the it shows the models have failed on real time data.

and big govt trolls and lefty nutters don't seem to understand cause and effect.

Temperature leads co2 up and down. its going to take some amazing science to show the laggard causes the leader. so far science has not been able to do that because we see no peer reviewed papers showing man made co2 causes warming.

Conservatives simply don't understand what a greenhouse gas is. It must be that. Yeah, that's it.

Blahahahahahaha.

Liming Li, a NASA scientist, said (emphasis mine):

""On Earth, the incoming energy is about the same as the outgoing energy. That means the temperature doesn't change dramatically, even with greenhouse effects," he said. "Saturn and Jupiter are emitting more energy than absorbed, so they are generating some type of internal heat. Earth and Titan are similar, with no significant internal heat.""

Liming Li, an assistant professor of physics in the UH College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, is leading a team of scientists from NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory and the University of Wisconsin-Madison to analyze data collected by instruments on board the Cassini spacecraft, which is on a mission to explore Saturn's systems. Through two new projects awarded by NASA's Planetary Science Division and funded for $709,000, Li and his team have the opportunity to study data collected aboard Cassini as it relates to climate. An international mission, Cassini is supported by NASA, the European Space Agency and the Italian Space Agency.

New study shows there is a hiatus and that the pause is real.

Blahahhaha. Michael Mann is a co-author.

http://www.nature.com/nclimate/journal/v6/n3/full/nclimate2938.html

"It has been claimed that the early-2000s global warming slowdown or hiatus, characterized by a reduced rate of global surface warming, has been overstated, lacks sound scientific basis, or is unsupported by observations. The evidence presented here contradicts these claims."

Article about new study:

http://www.examiner.com/article/new-paper-shows-there-was-a-global-warming-hiatus-this-century

Some excerpts:

In this new paper, the authors show there is a "mismatch between what the climate models are producing and what the observations are showing," says lead author John Fyfe, a climate modeller at the Canadian Center for Climate Modelling and Analysis in Victoria, British Columbia.

Snarking aside, this new paper says that natural variability (like volcanic eruptions, solar radiance, ocean heat uptake, etc...) are important elements in evaluating our climate. As such, they should be factored in when trying to interpret the temperature record and the millions of variables that affect our climate.

Susan Solomon, a climatologist at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Cambridge, says that Fyfe’s research helps put "twenty-first-century trends into perspective, and clearly indicates that the rate of warming slowed down at a time when greenhouse-gas emissions were rising dramatically."

Blahahahahahahahahaha..............................hahahahahaha.

Another one of Fraudcurrent's myths bites the dust. Are dominoes falling? It sounds like dominoes are falling.

Quote from above referenced report(emphasis mine):

"In summary, climate models did not (on average) reproduce the observed temperature trend over the early twenty-first century, in spite of the continued increase in anthropogenic forcing."

It is getting colder. Are you prepared?

You had better let NOAA what you found out.

Oh wow, a weatherman ...........for Saturn....not even earth, and he's Chinese. Who's next, an alien Al Roker? lol

Holy carp you conservatives are dumb.
