Greenland’s melting ice sheets are contributing more water to the oceans than previously realized, and that’s going to lead to even greater amounts of sea-level rise around the world, according to new research.


The paper published in the journal Nature Climate Change reveals something scientists never would have expected just five years ago. “It’s a very rapid change,” said one of the study’s authors, William Colgan of York University in Toronto. “The ice sheet is now losing about 8,000 tons every second, year-round, day in and day out.”

how could a guy who loves science make such a statement?
you realize co2 is plant food? you realize it seems to be helping the earth green.
you realize our planets population is exploding and we need a greener earth with more water.
you realize el nino is currently bring water to the south west.

from my perspective... if we don't curb population growth, the only things which may save us short of extra dimensional intervention... are co2, virtually free and unlimited energy and light speed travel to other possible planets with resources.

increasing co2 is probably a good thing... but I concede science really does not know.

In short this whole anti co2 thing is very similar to the big lie but with the slight chance that science will someday vindicate your concerns.

warming is worse that cooling or the status quo...(I realize adjustments will be made along coasts...as water has been rising since the last ice age)
and that man made co2 is causing...
