you lie. the NASA experiment was not debunked. anthony watts wrote that article to make sure people understood that co2 warms and cools not just cools. If you understood the article you would understand that the same mechanism which bounces IR back to earth... (warming) bounces IR and other heat waves back into to space... (cooling)

If you block warming rays before they hit you house... that is a cooling effect. Regardless of where in the atmosphere co2 did it.

especially when it confirms co2 captures energy and shoots some of it back in the direction it came.

That’s what happened on March 8th when a coronal mass ejection (CME) propelled in our direction by an X5-class solar flare hit Earth’s magnetic field. For the three day period, March 8th through 10th, the thermosphere absorbed 26 billion kWh of energy. Infrared radiation from CO2 and NO, the two most efficient coolants in the thermosphere, re-radiated 95% of that total back into space.
