Honestly, a good number of the "loons" on this site live in Canada. Fortunately, Max escaped...but the rest of them are straight out of the European socialist model...Ricter, Nine-Ender, (Gabfly/Thunderdog/Fred)
To be fair, the markets were (60-70%) lower than now (back in 2009)...he was a terrible President, but that Jan 2009 poll was influenced by the terrible market...
OTOH, we've got this "goosed" stock market fueled by 7 years of ZIRP and yet the current guy always struggles to hit that 50% mark.
I've noticed that. It has to be the cold weather. Or maybe life is so perfect in Canada that they want everyone to share in the utopia.
