Except maybe for Trump, who sounds like a 10-year-old in remedial reading class who didn't do his homework.any nutless monkey can read a teleprompter.

I can recognize bias. But I can also surmise a rationale. Such as not accepting lies and digging deeper. That's what police investigators do, and it's what good journalists do. The bias against Trump is equivalent to a bias against fraud. It is very unfortunate that you can't acknowledge that media sources are biased while you gulp down their nonsense without the least bit of questioning. This is the pitiful world in which you live out your fantasies.
Not so much paid placement but organizations make themselves available to the network to address an issue. So basically their message gets free air time. You have someone with knowledge on immigration and asylum cities who approaches the network and says our Executive Director is available for comment on air etc. CNN glazes their knuckles at the "Breaking News" and gives them a segment on air to push their message.
That is why the talk show structure is an insult to intelligence. Since when did we look to Maury Povich and Rikki Lake as a model to deliver news. The words are meant to convey the story not become the story. Tucker Carlson and Cuomo and Lemon and Tomi don't want to report the news, they want to BE the news. fuck them all. That is why I try to read as much news as possible on line so I don't have some wannabe celebrity acting like they are so fucking smart when any nutless monkey can read a teleprompter.
If you are paying attention.... all the news outlets are fake news. They merely push their agenda while deliberately misreporting the facts. Every time you take in "news" you should have a critical eye towards the bias of the outlet and separate the actual facts from their editorializing & speculation.
Bias towards the truth? Bwaaaaahahaha. Really? Okay here's the truth 99.99999% of the time. Sit down and prepare yourself. The truth is we don't know yet. There you have it. Now tell me how the talking heads fill 24/7 news with that story? They can't so they specualte and it is that speculation which displays their bias.More than anything, I think the mainstream media has a truth bias. What they are biased against is bullshit. Journalists worth their salt will not let a subject BS them. And when someone lies, it only raises more questions that prompts further digging. Is that so hard to understand?
Of course, that does not apply or appeal to the fringe elements you seem to favor. That Trump is now singling out FOX suggests that maybe even some of the people there had their fill.
This thread has become mostly about FOX vs. CNN. I think the mainstream media does a good job on balance. CNN, whatever you may have against it, will hold people to account for what they say. If not in the moment, because the interviewer was not prepared with all the facts, then in due course. From what I had seen, FOX is less likely to hold people to account for their falsehoods. Occasionally, refreshingly, I've seen them do their job, but less often than CNN when it comes down to ferreting out the facts.Bias towards the truth? Bwaaaaahahaha. Really? If you want fair news, don't watch CNN, MSNBC or FOX.
OAN is the new neutral news. Coming from CNN or Fox, it take a little while to get used to the monotone reporting, but after a while, it feels normal. They don't report the news to get your blood boiling, or raise the voice if Trump did something they did or didn't like. It's just calm, fact based reporting.
