European traders, Roll Call !!!

Nice thread. I have been living in the US for most of my life, but I was born in Europe (Greece) and that sort of qualifies me, right? :)

I was particularly interested in reading about the depth and strength of the various European markets that some of you trade (Eurex, DAX, etc.) Can someone give me a website or two with related information? Just trying to understand how I might trade them, that's all.

TIA

I thought I could ignore this thread, but it still comes up every week so I think its time for me to announce that I am from Germany!

Once I asked a German trader I met in a chatroom why he traded the eminis like I did and not the German market. He answered me that he wanted to be where the volume and action was. Lucky for me, I decided to take a look myself and wow - how wrong can you be? The DAX is nothing but the Ferrari on the racetrack - it's awsome (if you can controle your fears). I also like to trade the MIB30 which is thin but moves just as fast and sometimes even faster.

Wild, Franz,

Thanks guys, I appreciate the input :)

I'll look through these websites and see if it makes sense for me to make a change (now I trade the eminis on Globex for the most part.)

Norway,

Very interesting. Is there a way you could substantiate this, e.g., by posting what were the exact reasons or key numbers that impressed you so much?

The biggest stockindex future in Europe is the ESTX-50.
