European Green Energy

The Germans have certainly screwed themselves by shutting down their nuclear plants in favor of local coal and Russian gas. This is only a temporary set back for Europe and a lesson on energy supply. It's as if the Russia-Ukraine conflict came just at the right time to remind Europeans how unhealthy it is to depend on Russia for European energy security...
on the flip side, while I certainly welcome green energy, the article does little to remind us of the impact that Russia energy sanction had in disrupting competing sources or the likely impact on green energy going forward now that the Norwegians will be picking up the slack:

Also recession in EuroZone helps keep demand and emissions lower.

As happened during Covid shutdown.

Though, overall, they are leading the way to a greener energy future the technology seems to being developed in a lot of countries besides on the continent.

Norway is a key energy supplier for Europe. It was oil, now gas and green energies. With Russian gas pipelines now shut, Norway stands to become even wealthier.
There's still some arm wrestling concerning the "green" label. France wants gas out, Germany wants it in, while they want nuclear out while France is Europe's main nuclear energy supplier... At the end of the day, the compromise will likely be a PR marketing campaign making them both green until truly green energies ramp up enough to cut gas out.

Hmm. it seems you think it's the minorities (foreigners, refugees) guilt as the reason for the fascist again gaining power throughout Europe. But this is wrong! The fascist parties just cleverly instrumentalise and use this as a pretext for their own political agenda b/c it simply works in European sicko "we and them" mentaility culture, since the minorities don't have any voice in media and elsewhere.
It's the European mentaility, a sicko mentality as they still havent't learned about individual freedoms b/c European politics is about suppression of all the people, not about individual freedoms (as in the US where individual freedom is a constitutionalized right); the Euros still think in discriminatory matters of groupings like "we" and "them"...
IMO that's also the eternal core of the problem especially in such European countries like Germany, Austria, Denmark, Belgium etc., and to a lesser degree even in France and Sweden...
Goebbel's propaganda methods still work in sicko Europe, calling others as "subhumans", "rats" etc. That's their sicko culture, seems even to have become their "nature"...
Fascists are nationalists. Their greatest ambition is to send all non white Europeans back to wherever they came from, eliminate the EU government, its legal and administrative infrastructure and return powers to the nations. It's that simple.
I think most people there consider themselves European, but perhaps 25% don't.
There's a fundamental difference between Europe and the US. America is an amalgamation of various ethnic and cultural backgrounds, while Europe is an assembly of culturally defined nations. Each of these nations is very clear about their cultural identity molded over their long histories. Immigrants are welcomed, provided they abide by the norms of the country they elect to live in. The reality is far more complicated, both in terms of acceptance and integration. Nationalists grab on to that grey zone to build their parties.

In America, Trump is the first to model American political discourse on Europe which leads to the mess the Republican party is in now. If the US had a multi party system, Trump could head a nationalist party, while the Republican party would in effect become the center right party. Instead, they're the Orthrus party, the two headed dog of Geryon, grandson of Medusa.

Trump's white nationalist rants have not only references to Hitler or Mussolini but all of today's nations run by far right leaders, like Hungary. Almost a dozen nations in Europe have far right nationalist parties scoring above 15% in recent elections.

Largest wind turbine blades debut

The world’s largest offshore wind-turbine blades — 430 feet long — were unveiled in China. The blades, each one taller than the Statue of Liberty, are stiffer and stronger than existing models, and are partially made of recycled polyurethane. The turbines they are part of will provide 15 megawatts of power each when working at full capacity, enough to power about 5,000 homes. China installed more wind and solar power than the rest of the world combined last year, and is on track to meet its goal of doubling its 2021 renewable energy capacity by 2025, five years ahead of schedule, according to Global Energy Monitor.

maybe my point is I've found electrek and similar sources (teslarati) lacking in their analysis in the past and with blind spot biases reflective of their name so just a word of caution in taking their input too seriously.

What would you sources be?

I just wonder what the EU will do when the US starts the next war... :)
Will Europe react similar and sanction the US, like they did to Russia? :)

Europe already has some far-right governments, the next stage is getting some NeoNazi governments... like is the case in many eastern states/regions of Germany with the far-right AfD party and their "völkisch ideology", ie. Nazi-ideology...
It is making some "successful" politics mainly by using ressentiments against foreigners and minorities... AfD is really a shame for Germany that already has such a bad past; bad things just repeat again in Germany... That country seems to have a genetic-defect or so...
