Euro Panic around the Corner....

Quote from achilles28:

You actually think this crisis was "solved"....???
it's been one week, You were going to bump it "in a few weeks"

I'll bumpit next Friday if I still feel like it

otherwise, carry on about the "Euro Panic" that you are so concerned about

Quote from peilthetraveler:

Umm...no you couldnt. The reason being is we dont have their currency to give them(or at least we dont have enough of it.)

For instance....The US buys saudi oil with dollars. Lets say one day they give the saudis 1 billion US dollars for oil. The saudis say "Hey, we dont want dollars, we want Saudi riyals" So they go to the exchange and say "I want to exchange all these dollars for saudi riyals" The woman at the exchange booth says "Sorry, we only have 10 million saudi riyals right now. You are not buying enough american goods with your riyals so we dont have enough to give you in exchange for your US dollars. But we can give you some nice treasury bonds that pay interest!"

...and the cycle keeps going every day. Now you know why they are pissed at us.

You nailed it. Thanks.

If you think this is anywhere close to being over, you're exceptionally dense...

like you said, it's just a matter of a few weeks

carry on, if you don't I'll bump you next Friday

I especially like it when you talk about "panic"

since that is in the title of your thread

Syriza, who the EU and media expected to win, lost the election. The immediate crisis was averted, obviously. The broader euro crisis has only begun. How do you suppose the EU plans to dig itself out of this giant (and *growing*) hole?

how could the "media" be wrong? Don't they have the most sophisticated intelligince gathering service money can buy?

Now you got me worried. What else is it they are publishing that might be wrong?

post some more of those links so I can learn the truth
