Bloomberg just said Bush may appoint a successor to Greenspan soon, possibly today. It'll probably be Bernanke.
What would the effect of this be on EUR/USD and the dollar in general?

According to one source, this may be one reason why the market is higher today. Short-covering.
I don't remember if people thought Bernanke would be hawkish on rates or not. Might make more sense if he wasn't.
