It seems real reluctant to go past 8300 even with crude up $1 more than when I commented earlier. Almost like the air is too thin up there for it to go further.

Aso, check out cable - it still hsn't been able to take out last nights high at 1.6590-2. So maybe downward pressure here is still in effect.

Strong correlation with EUR/USD, which seems to be at resistance on a daily.

Gold jumped, also, along with oil.
I may hide and watch for a bit.

Intraday outlook in GBP/USD remains neutral as it's still staying in range
above 1.6274 and 1.6592. While consolidation might extend further, recovery is
expected to be limited below 1.6663 resistance and bring fall resumption. As
discussed before, prior break of 1.6338 support serves as an important alert
that a medium term top is in place at 1.7043. Below 1.6274 will target 1.5983

Still going to play short scalps to the downside on aussie and cable unless they break 8320 and 1.6590, respectfully. EURUSD is the only thing giving pause to a little dollar rally as it is backing up against it's intermediate resisitence around 1.43. Keeping an eye on S&P and crude to see if a return to risk aversion trade.

EU looking pretty choppy today, GU a little more trendy but not sure if we are going to get a good drop at this point or not. I felt more "in tune" with the market yesterday than today. I need to step away from the computer for a few minutes before I start to force things and overtrade (easier to do since I am up 19 pips so far this morning).

out of the AUD/USD with 69.. showing no power to the upside I wont trade short on this since the differential is Long... looks like short will be good scalp late today into tomorrow at 4 candles to the upside under major emas odds are short scalping. I will start to build a position long in the aus/yen from here tho.

I must be crazy for trading this time of the day, but I am putting a sell stop on the GU at 1.6490, stop loss at 1.6315, and a Take profit at 1.6450.

I'm only doing 10K on this one so this is a $25 bet to make $40 - not playing for big stakes like you guys who swing $1,000,000 bats!
