EU to ban travel from the U.S. when it re-opens on July 1st

The EU has 118 million more people in a lot less space than the US which makes the failure of Trump even worse.

The U.S. is considering $3.1 billion in new tariffs on products from France, Germany, Spain and the UK

• The goods in consideration include olives, coffee, chocolate, beer, gin, some trucks and machinery.

Nevertheless we shall see whether the EU countries and local business owners versus the politicans are happy with the ban on American tourists. If you and they are happy that is fine. It often happens with this corona thing that when people have suffered enough from the economic decline that they find ways to start adjusting their high and mighty original positions.

Some of them are probably still hoping to salvage part of their summer income. As I said, if they are all set, I am all set. If they are not, it is not the Americans that they will turn too.

And yes, the Chinese seek to colonize some places when the virus is hitting hard and as the economic impact keeps people down and out.

Chinese are having huge layoffs as their economy is tied to exports, 80% of it. Without the US and Europe ordering Chinese goods, the Chinese do not have jobs. Orders from the US and Europe are down. A good number of them make just $3 a day and they are perfectly, happy with it. Without that, they really have nothing. China better hold their end up and buy those farm goods. If not, tariffs will be reimposed on Chinese goods and then, it only gets worse for them.
