W whitster Jun 6, 2007 #4 "I dunno..there is qid but you can just short the dia,spy, or qqqq" but not in an IRA etc. can't short stocks (ETF's also) in an IRA. you CAN short futures, single stock futures (including DIA SSF), and buy reverse ETF's DOG, QID, etc..
