Just to clarify, we can't understand what you are saying.

forget it. an article says ETF expsure and then the stock went through the roof. why is that?

The stock is NXTD. It talks about the exposure ETFS has with this company and next thing you know the stock goes through the roof.

It had a reverse split of 1:10. Nothing to do with any article. If you read the article closely, the ETFs have negligible exposure to NXTD (not suprising - it's a microcap).
