Republican Party slammed the door shut on him as he would never support the graft, corruption and outright larceny of U.S taxpayers by the GOP and those firms and individuals that support it, such as Halliburton, KBR, Bechtel, most of the defense contractors, etc.

Just go visit Duke Cunningham or Jack Abramoff in prison and ask them who owns the Republican Party.

Ask them why oil and gas prices fall for the 8 or so weeks prior to each election, only to dramatically go higher after GOP victories, also.

just a comment, if barack would win the election in november by this kind of margin i would LOVE to see the look on mccain's and palin's face and all the republicans for that matter.

actually scratch that, i would love to hear what he would have to say about that.
