been obsessing about trading lately and would like to ask this beautiful community some basic questions.

- What instrument do you trade? equities/options/futures/etc...
- What candle, bar, etc... size(s) do you prefer to trade?
- What is the typical duration of a winning trade for you?
- What is the typical duration of a losing trade for you?
- What is your profit target in pips/ticks/points/% profit potential/etc...
- Do you use a Stop loss? if so, how is it determined?
- Do you use a Time stop? if so, how long?
- How many hours do you spend each week trading? Please Break down into planning/preparation and execution if you don't mind.
- Do you have a professional background in the financial industry?
- Were you a profitable trader in 2023? are you currently green or red for 2024?

That is a good question.

I do not have a trading edge, and I do not want a trading edge, and do not want to search for a trading edge. My job is to make alot of money everyday in the ES futures market, I do not have damn time to be looking for damn trading edge. I do not even know where to start looking for it. And I have no clue what is trading edge and do not care about it.

There is another thread on Edge, and noone never posted any factual results of having a trading edge. Just a bunch of theory and talking. See below.

In my own opinion, thinking about or seeking trading edge, is a complete waste of time and effort.

And even if I did have a trading edge, I damn sure would not tell you. That would be dumb. I rather lie to you and keep getting richer with my trading edge. Lol.

So just keep on going.
