My point is that most of the posters in this thread are not even American, they are mostly canadians including the OP.
That makes it strange. Strange that foriegners would get their panties into such a wad over our politics down here.

I donât want to defend âTeabaggersâ because I donât actually like those people. However, that is exactly what Iâm going to do. I think Teabaggers are right about taxes but that theyâre only right about taxes by pure chance rather than intelligent design. Now someone like Bill Maher (I watch his show) will often correctly point out that taxes for most people are going down under the Obama administration. Nevertheless, the USA is in a strange position with a growing deficit and lower taxes. Now this is obviously an unsustainable condition for the long term. To maintain the current level of spending the Federal Government will either have to borrow money or raise taxes in the long term. I see no way around this problem. I believe that these âtax cutsâ are only temporary unless massive cuts are made to spending. Borrowing wonât be such an attractive option once interest rates start to rise or the USA reaches a level of debt where it will have difficulty raising the sums required to maintain the services that Americans enjoy. So âTeabaggersâ are right to be angry about âfuture taxesâ that they havenât paid yet. 
In reality the movement is a joke without a clear agenda other than the fact that they share a fear for a future that hasnât happened yet.
