Et Teabagger Thread

My guess is that he pays nothing for health care...

He likely goes to the V.A.

Socialized medicine for veterans...

Incorrect response. Doesn't escape the fact he fights against his own interests.

This thread is about teabaggers. Any teabagger.

The thread highlights the complete lunacy and disconnect from reality of this pathetic movement and its members.

Is he against medicare? I'll bet he is for medicare only when it comes to his own check.

I'll make fun of Palin too.

You know the one. She could see clear across Russia from her back yard. And how can we forget she was for the bridge to nowhere before she was against it.

I know she's your hero. It's going to be fun.

I'm thinking this thread highlights the complete lunacy and disconnect from reality of the OP. :D

All veterans actually earned socialized medicine?

What, you don't feel that our Country should take care of it's veterans?

Most of the people in the military were either too poor or too stupid to go to college. Why on earth should these rejects be granted free healthcare? Lose a limb, fine, then your entitled to some form of healthcare but for the rest, no.

And this is a pretty good thread. As for the taxes, whoa, Does It Pay to Work? and Are the rich paying their fair share?. I have no idea why some of these degenerates who will never be rich are supporting policies that benefit the rich at their expense.

Why didn't you answer my question?

Why did you avoid mine?

Honorably Discharged Servicemen/women should have any service related medical condition covered, no time limits, no cost to the individual.

IMHO, certain service and sacrifice levels should qualify those recipients for preferential treatment. In my family we have several active, retired and one WWII disabled POW, when he visits the VA they roll out the red carpet and rightfully so.

I should be able to rattle off the current VA benefits time schedules, but honestly cannot, but I would say that I'd rather see this country invest it resources in it's veterans and their health care before it pays the Viagra bill for GM retirees.

I asked you my question first.

Look, say Obama made military service mandatory for all citizens, men and women in the USA starting tomorrow...you would be on board for socialized medicine for everyone who served?

I doubt it...

Your plan is an entitlement plan...just that you are dictating what entitles someone benefits...especially when they are family.

p.s. I am not opposed to the VA system at all. I am glad we take care of veterans, and think we could do more...for all citizens.

Isn't the plan to bring free health care to all?

I did not say I endorsed free life time heath care for all veterans, (my family has nothing to do with the debate, only I see the application of VA benefits firsthand). But those that give, sacrifice much should receive much from a grateful country.

But even if you set military service as a prerequisite for socialized medicine, that would be better than the "give me something for nothing" mentality of most of those presently sucking off the government tit.
