Thanks for proving the premise of this thread.
You asked what freedom(s) Obama has taken.Quote from fkbsuhites:
It's called a tax write off. Employers have to carry all types of insurance. I suppose you'd prefer to work for someone with no workman's comp.?
How is this different from your state MANDATING BY LAW YOU MUST CARRY AUTO INSURANCE to drive on state roads?
Personally Iâd like to have the FREEDOM TO NOT CARRY AUTO INSURANCE, but I canât.
Iâd prefer there was opt out but that would still mean transferring the cost to the TAX PAYER. Kind of like the drunk with no auto insurance getting in a wreck. And the lady he hit, her insurance paying the bill to get her car fixed then raising her premiums.
Itâs because there are way too many stupid people who cause way too much grief to the system
In the past you had the freedom to drink and drive and you killed innocent people because of that freedom.
Similarly, those without health insurance tax the hospitals by running into the ER room when they are at the brink of death. At the brink of death from easily preventable health causes.
Example: Guy hogs up the ER resources because of his now severe Cholecystitis which could have been caught earlier by a simple check up. So this guy will now cost the TAX PAYER huge sums of money when it was CHEAPER to give him access to a family physician way earlier.
Or letâs take a imbecile with lousy diet. Fully obese, looks like a Hippopotamus, waddles around like one.
Who pays when the fool gets sick and waddles into the ER with heart failure?
Should the TAX PAYER pay for these stupid fools eating habits?
Thatâs like arguing you have the freedom to drink poison in drunken fun and then run to the ER to get your stomach flushed at the expense of the tax payer.
Interesting you pick mandatory health care as a infringement of your personal freedom. Given you had ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to say about the Bush Patriot acts and now the new AZ law that remove inherent freedoms and make America almost as bad a police state as China.
To answer your question. I would have to ask:
Why can't I get my vehicle registered without having mandatory auto insurance?
And I prefer not to move to "Somolia".

Then you should find it troubling that you're not nearly as smart as he is.

Quote from Trader666:
Which is... you're a libtard nut job (or a caricature of one) who's wrong about almost everything.

Quote from Lucrum:
You asked what freedom(s) Obama has taken.
I point out one and you go on yet another stupid libtard rant.
(If you don't want to move to Somalia then don't, just stay there in Canada)
Quote from fkbsuhites:
I understand you resorting to ad hominems.
Your brain is incapable of comprehending the logical disconnect.
Mandating everyone have auto insurance is ok.
Mandating everyone have health insurance is a infringement of your supposed right to pass on to the tax payer the treatment of your heart failure from lousy diet.
If you supposedly make 6 figures your employer already provides your insurance. Which makes your claim all the more laughable. And the rest of your geriatric nut-bagging friends are all one medicare. Which makes their claims even more laugable.
Let's make sure we understand your mental state:
The Bush Patriot Acts allowing unlimited surveillance of your phone calls and internet use and his ability to detain you indefinitely without due cause is ....... ok. Hey, after all you're not a Aaaaa-rraaaab and bush talks with God.
The new AZ law allowing law enforcement to stop anyone without due cause is ...... ok. Hey, after all you're not Mexiiiiii-kan looking.
But the fact that Obama's law has no consequence for you because you "supposedly" make six figures and have the health coverage .... OMG.... infringes on your supposed "liberties".
Ah, the inner workings of a deranged stupid mind.![]()

I can't believe that the "Tea-Baggers" aren't flocking down to Arizona to fight off the overbearing Government who are continuing to make it their business of getting involved in people's lives (Mexican Americans) and trampling all over the Constitution.
Oh, the irony . . .
