There is one problem with this poll.
I trade in several styles every day.

scalper....2 minute trades
day trader...micro trends
interday moves on a daily chart.

all in QQQ or NQ right now.
sometimes in SPY or ES....

What is up with every option being about "trend" trading????
Trading is not only about following the trends you know...
I couldn't care less about the trends except when they go too far and reverse.

Not sure about that. I'd say it's to determine when the old trend reverses and a new starts and you jump in before everyone else. Running with the croud following the trend will just allow you to make as much as the others doing the same thing, plus minus the effects of leverage. I think that those who bet against the croud and are right make "big" money. It may mean standing in the way of the train, but if you are sure enough the train will stop before it runs over you, you are guaranteed a prime spot on that train...
