This is a poll in regards to trading performance of traders over the last year. Be honest lets try to keep the data accurate.

Last year got slaughtered. Had gains towards the end but lost them all. Ended up slightly lower.

Not bragging but for the last 6 years I've made all the money I need. When I need more, I trade more, life is good.

I had a lot of losses to make up for because of the previous 2 years (my start into daytrading) so still net negative even with this last year but that won't be for very much longer!

I was just curious how everyone was doing and what type of traders we have on ET.

Looks like we have more winners than losers here. But, we should take into consideration that most traders who take on big losses no longer trade or visit trading forums such as ET. In that sense the poll is inaccurate.

But its still good to see the distrubution and possibilities.

On what capital invested? If I made $20K on $10K I'm ecstatic, if $20K on $500K I'm better off in a CD.

Your right. The poll would make more sense if it was based on percentage. I guess I was interested in net profits.

P.S the % poll did cross my mind. Maybe next time.

No, I could be living in a shack and need $300 a month to pay off the cops to leave me alone while I tie into the neighbors broadband.

100% on a 100M account would be also very different then 100% on a 10k account so you would have to figure that in as well.
